Botas Negras - AKA: BLACK BOOTS & LEATHER WHIP.  A private eye is contacted to finda missing handbag.  Along the way he gets $4,000 for the job, sex with the sexy client, a whole lot of trouble, and he's accused of murdering two men.  Directed by Jess Franco, with Lina Romay and Robert Foster.  No English!  In Spanish only!

THE HEROIN BUSTERS-AKA:  la via della droga.  Fabio testi plays a tough cop who goes undercover into italy ’s sleaziest drug culture in this Italian crime pic directed by enzo g. castellari.  Also stars david hemmings, patrizia webley, sherry Buchanan.  Music is by goblin.    

HIGH CRIME- AKA:  La POLIZIA INCRIMINA , LA LEGGE ASSOLVE, the Marseilles connection, Streets of eternity .  Franco Nero gives an amazing performance in one of Enzo G. Castellari’s most polished and accomplished films. It opens with an amazing chase, first on foot, then in speeding emergency vehicles.   Nero, as Commisario Belli, battles heroin smugglers in Genoa, often putting his police work ahead of himself and his family.  The  film deals with the negative aspects of police work, along with the positive. Nero puts his girlfriend and daughter (who’s played by Castellari’s daughter Stefania Girolami) in jeopardy. His girlfriend is badly beaten by two thugs, and his daughter is killed.  Nero gets the bad guys in the end, but he realizes it wasn’t worth it. Terrific acting from all the leads, including American actor James Whitmore as Nero’s superior and Spanish actor Fernando Rey as the ailing head of the heroin ring. A true classic of Italian action cinema.

MANHUNT IN THE CITY- AKA: The Manhunt, Mad Dog, L' Uomo della strada fa giustizia  Henry Silva plays a successful businessman whose daughter is brutally murdered during a robbery. Henry of course goes fucking psycho while waiting for the police to do something. He beats up and then teams up with a transvestite to track down the bastards who ended his daughter's life. Silva is a one man wrecking crew in this top-notch vendetta film by Umberto Lenzi.  

NOKAUT (AKA:  THE ROGUE)-HE COULD MAKE BEAUTIFUL WOMEN DO ANYTHING HE WANTED...AND HE WANTED EVERYTHING!  PRETTY RARE FILM ABOUT A  YOUNG WOMANIZING OPPORTUNIST, WHO IS A PIMP, PHILANDERER, A COCAINE SMUGGLER AND A QUIZ SHOW CHEATER TO BOOT.  WHEW...THINGS TURN UP A NOTCH WHEN HIS GIRLFRIEND SHOWS UP (THE LOVELY BARBARA BOUCHET) AND THEY DIRVE AROUND IN HIS CONVERTIBLE SPORTS CAR WITH HER STANDING UP NUDE WAVING HER HANDS IN THE AIR.  WHEN SHE CATCHES ON TO THE RAT BASTARDS WAYS SHE DUMPS HIM.  HE FINDS ANOTHER WOMAN TO TAKE HER PLACE THOUGH PRETTY SOON THINGS ARE ABOUT TO COME TO A HEAD.

Another Castellari film that features Franco Nero. This time he plays a working man named Carlo who’s in the wrong place at the wrong time when a gang of thugs stick-up the post office. Nero tries to protect his money, but it back fires when he’s beaten and taken hostage. Pistols whipped, and really pissed, Nero is determined to get his revenge. He black mails small time hood Gincarlo Prete into helping him find the three guys who took his cash and his pride. Everyone tells him it’s suicide to go after these guys, but he’s made up his mind. He eventually tracks them down and calls the cops, but they won’t do anything. He tries to catch them himself, but only ends up being beaten and humiliated-and taken hostage again. The next morning he manages to escape, leading to the film’s most amazing scene: Nero is chased and run over numerous times by a speeding Mustang. Comparisons to Death Wish are inevitable, but Castellari’s film says a lot more about the male psyche and is by far the more entertaining.

Who Killed Teddy Bear - Stars Sal Mineo.  A busboy at a disco has sexual problems related to a childhood event.  He becomes obsessed with a disc jockey at the club which leads to obscene phone calls, voyeurism, trips to porn shops and adult movie theaters plus much more!   Directed by Phoebe Cates father!
